REVIEW: HAPPY SENIOR CITIZENS DAY!

​​I have fond memories of the senor citizens in my family who taught me to bake, knit, and crochet; make horseshoes, pottery, and fudge; and shell lima beans and drive a tractor, among other things. Today’s picture book shows how one little girl creates a bond with the senior citizens she befriends in her life:

The text expertly combines humor and heart to tell a touching story of young and old and loss and found friends. I think OLD FRIENDS is destined to be an old favorite!
