This is a special day indeed. Or should I say an exceptional, memorable unique day. And, of course, I have a review of a book that is suitable, relevant, and fitting for such a day. So, without further ado, I present a review of:
This book is brilliant! Exceptional! Splendid! It’s about a stegothesaurus who is a little different from his brothers because he loves to use words—lots and lots of words. He doesn’t feel like he quite fits in until…he meets an allothesaurus who loves words just as much as he does. Bridget Heos is a master at pacing, page turns, and voice and has crafted a story filled with heart and humor. T.L. McBeth’s illustrations are adorable and are the “Perfect! Ideal! Optimal!” match for the text. I fell in love with little Stegothesaurs from the start. This book has words and pictures and dinosaurs and a sweet ending you’ll have to read for yourself.
