How to make your author visit a success
"Miss Heather came to our elementary school for career day and taught us all about her journey to becoming an author. She was so encouraging and told the students what they can do now to start working on their own career goals. Miss Heather took the time to read, “Paisley’s Big Birthday” to every class and answered each question with care. Everyone loved her book and is looking forward to her next release! " -- Jennifer Anderson Spring Grove School District |
“Paisley’s Big Birthday Is an engaging story about a bunny who takes being older literally. Heather Stigall’s delightful character will register with everyone who once wanted to be older than they were. Heather Stigall provided an engaging event which the children enjoyed. ” --Angela Brown Head of Youth Services Easttown Library |
"Our students love Miss Stigall! Children can definitely relate to sweet Paisley's story; and Miss Stigall's presentation was fun, interactive, and reinforced some big ideas. How can children tell they're growing up? What can they do today that they couldn't do when they were younger? This theme worked so well in our mixed-age Montessori classrooms. In addition, Miss Stigall was a delight to work with leading up to the event. She is organized, thoughtful, and prepared. The communication was wonderful. Our students are eagerly awaiting Miss Stigall's next book!"
