Observing my parents and grandparents was the best way to learn how to be a good neighbor. This book, on the surface, appears to be about a party, but it’s really about something else. Maybe reading it will inspire you to throw a party and invite all your neighbors:
Making guest lists can be difficult, especially when you want to avoid inviting party poopers. Panda Bear seems to have a reason to reject everyone for one reason or another. Just who is the party pooper here anyway? This adorable book conveys the importance of inclusivity and kindness in a fun, light-hearted way, and the bright, cheerful illustrations are the perfect accompaniment. Read this book & party on!

What would you do if you were invited to a party that required you bring a hat, but didn’t have one? Find out when you read:
This book is just pure fun. Silly fun. It starts with a boy who is invited to a party. The only problem is that he must bring a hat, but he doesn’t have one! What’s a boy to do? He comes up with a solution, but that leads to another problem: He’s in violation of yet another party rule. How frustrating! That solution leads to a new problem and the hilariousness continues. Readers will commiserate with the boy who just wants to go to this party but can’t seem to get in! If you’re looking for a fun read with a fun twist ending and equally fun illustrations, I recommend this book!
