Let’s give a little love to all the school librarians out there! Today is the perfect day to review a book about books:
When summer ends and story time moves indoors, poor Bunny can’t hear stories anymore, so he takes matters into his own paws. Bunny can’t help but share his secret with his friends, and soon they all become book lovers. This could be the beginning of a book club…until a run in with the librarian. I’m sure you can guess there is a happy ending, but you’ll have to read to find out how it all turns out. I love everything about this book, from the end papers (complete with illustrated borrowing card and pocket), cute woodland creatures (I have a weakness for bunnies), endearing main character (I can relate to his love of books), and colorful illustrations (SO adorable!). If you’re like me, you’ll love this book as much as Bunny loves books!
