This adorable book is a day-in-the-life journey of a young child and her family in China. Told from the point of view of a young girl, she observes her surroundings and describes her actions and interactions throughout her day. Readers will see words (and numbers) in both English and Mandarin, plus a pronunciation guide, as well as learn about some typical Chinese activities. The combination of cheerful and engaging illustrations, simple language, depiction of sweet family interactions, and supplemental backmatter make this book a winner for child, caregiver, and educator. Highly recommend!
