This book is pure fun! Iggy is born literally being able to breath fire. Some around her think she’s a bit much, but Iggy thinks…maybe not. After all, her fire breathing talents come in handy, even if she goes a little too far sometimes. In the end, her parents trust her to know herself and how best to share her talents with the world. Carrie Kruck’s engaging, entertaining text that shares the message that girls don’t need to be silenced, but celebrated, combined with Erika Meza’s vibrant, expressive illustrations will have young readers cheering for Iggy from beginning to end.
